Im still behind from the vegas trip, but also still in a mind to think "its ok, I got into Dartmouth!"
I mailed out the official acceptance letter today, and applied for housing.
most of the day was spent preparing for the talk I'm giving thursday. There's this new theory reading group. they have people come in and discuss current research and/or recent papers. I'm doing a talk on Euclid's Algorithm.
maybe you don't remember, but you all learned it in like eigth grade. Its what you do to find the greatest common divisor for 2 numbers. Despite being 2300 years old, there are still papers coming out on it.
I hope to do a survey talk on the currenter papers and on how Euclid's Algorithm is not just for breakfast anymore.
